Pull driver-related facts from the hardware manual with exact page or section links, and mark each fact as clear, unclear, incomplete, or in conflict with another part of the manual.

Break the switch into separate hardware traits and find related drivers, kernel changes, and mailing-list talks for each trait without assuming that another device works exactly the same way.

Build a table that keeps hardware facts, V1 behavior, DSA rules, patterns from other drivers, guesses, and open questions clearly separate, then use it to allow safe work or ask a focused human question.
